You can often find Hazel coaching youth soccer in her community or playing in the pit orchestra for Young Artists Conservatory of Music. Hazel’s love for service, and her commitment to bettering her community began in the world of pageantry. Hazel has held the titles of Miss Vacaville, Miss Napa County, and America’s Miss California. During this time in her life, Hazel won numerous community service, and interview awards. For Hazel, she wants to encourage those around her to chase their dreams, and to keep learning. She says that life is full of opportunities if you are only brave enough to say “yes” to them.
